Jane is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She has significant experience of handling personal injury and medical negligence claims in addition to a broad spectrum of insurance law related and civil claims.
Jane started out her career in insurance and worked within the industry for 13 years before moving into the legal profession. At the beginning of her career as a legal assistant, Jane dealt predominantly with instructions from her insurer clients before expanding into legal aid cases representing claimants in personal injury and clinical negligence claims in addition to other legal aid matters such as family and divorce matters. She has also handled petty debts cases, evictions and assisting with Mental Health Tribunal cases. Throughout her time dealing with personal injury and clinical negligence cases, Jane has dealt with a broad spectrum of injuries ranging from minor through to life changing injuries – including brain and spinal injuries – from both a defendant and claimant position.
